O Canada!

That’s where I am now.
After failing my license test one week, nearly perfectly passing it the next (finally), and going to Cleveland on that day…
We finally made it to “Canaidia”.

It does smell different here.

There is no jay walking here, feel free to walk across the street at your every whim, provided there is no vehicle coming right at you.

We first went to Cleveland on our way up here, ate in a Hard Rock cafe but I didn’t want to get a shirt (even though they were awesome looking) because I was afraid I wouldn’t have enough for Canada.

I ended up buying a Hard Rock Cafe shirt at Niagara Falls which was supposed to be $29.99 in American money, without Canadian taxes (which are outrageous) and I used a $50 and got Canadian change back. I had heard that you can get all your money you spent on taxes back (Duty-free) by giving your recipet to the Duty-Free station.

October 10th, 2006-
Now I am back home, and I only have $7 of that original $50 dollar bill that I have, and only a t-shirt and a hershey’s chocalte bar to show for it. The Duty-Free only returned taxes on purchases over $50 and their minumum tax return was $12. Rediculous. Lost alot of money on that trip, next time I bring alot of small bills. Alot.

You can view the new pictures of my trip in my “Art Gallery” (I should change the name), starting with the picture of the Niagara Falls city skyline or you could view the album starting on Page 2 and continuing on to Page 3.
